I work with company law, M&A, financing, and related areas of business law. I have experience serving as bond trustee and regularly advise and negotiate across a range of industries.

I assist established companies, boards of directors, and shareholders, but also have a strong interest in startups—particularly within the technology and renewable energy sectors.

EXPERIENCE

I advise broadly across the field of business law, with a particular focus on transactions, corporate law, and the strategic decisions required for companies to achieve their planned growth. I support boards and owners in making key strategic choices, as well as in addressing day-to-day legal issues that naturally arise in the operation of a business.

My industry experience spans a wide range of sectors, with recent activity particularly concentrated in the maritime industry, tourism, real estate, and technology.

I began my legal career at a large business law firm before establishing my own practice in 2019 as a partner at Advokatfirmaet GTI, continuing until I joined SKARP in 2025.

I hold an academic specialization in maritime law and completed studies at the University of Southampton, focusing on maritime law and private international law.

Prior to my legal career, I spent more than a decade as a financial journalist and news editor at Verdens Gang (VG), and I continue to offer strategic communication and media advice when relevant.

METHOD

Early identification of goals and challenges is essential to achieving the best outcomes. I work closely with clients in a strategic capacity to find practical, forward-looking solutions—whether in corporate structuring or negotiations aimed at avoiding disputes.

CORPORATE LAW

I assist both established companies and startups across various sectors with corporate legal matters. This includes issues related to business structuring and financing, as well as capital increases and the drafting of shareholder agreements.

MERGERS AND ACQUISTIONS (M&A)

I act as legal advisor in M&A processes, including matters related to transaction structuring, drafting of share purchase agreements, and corporate reorganizations.

BONDS – FINANCING

I have experience serving as bond trustee and provide legal advice on bond financing and related security packages. I also advise on general financing matters.

STARTUPS

I have a strong interest in startups and personal experience as a founder, including of the legal tech company SKRAIB AS. Common issues include business structuring and organizational setup.
